A quick digression. Someone recently sent me several quotes of what leaders are vs. what managers are. My view of leaders vs. managers is the following:

"Managers manage people in connection to the job function in question while leaders are those who look at the big picture and view others as to what they could be, their potential, regardless who they are or even whether they deserve to be viewed that way, giving them a reputation to live up to and then helping them not only see that same potential but assist them in achieving it AND surpassing it."

Which do YOU want to be - a manager or a leader? Hopefully, with AGS Life Academy, you'll become a Rolls Royce type leader others will envy and look up to within 6 months.

By The Way

By the way, when leaders travel, they almost always, if they can, travel first class. First class provides extra amenities other than nicer accommodations. It puts the leader in proximity of other people that are first class and by doing so, one can observe and learn from them. The contacts one makes is also incredible. You may not be able to put a value on some of them.

One also increases their own performance considerably.

Business 101 - The Basics

From concept to creation to implementation to monitoring to adjusting

How to take an idea or a concept and create a business from that so that ALL ends up being a win-win situation. For the person doing the creating to those helping in the creation or implementation (employees) to those buying the product(s) or service(s) (customers or clients) to those assisting in the support of the entity (vendors). In a seriously practical way.

Could also be entitled - How to go from concept to creation to implementation to monitoring to adjusting for constant self-sustained growth.

Or ... how does one, after a business has been founded, go back and make adjustments to get it to the next level?

This section is till being developed. Please have patience... In the meantime, please get started with the foundation program itself. Before you have completed that critical basics of all basics generic principles, this business 101 section should be finished. Besides, a strong suggestion is to complete that complete section in any case.

All Around Fundamental Balance In Personal Character Development Programs
(Formal Public Schools Replacement Type Programs For The Willing & The Receptive)

A future project. In the mean time, for K-12 levels, you might investigate some of the distance Home Study or Home Schooling programs that are readily available. A Beka Academy is one of them you may want to consider. Especially for the younger generation. Saxon Math & Charlotte Mason are also mentioned to consider.

To supplement the more formal education and for well balanced social interaction and character development, consider the Scouting Programs - Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts for boys. The various levels of Girl Scouts for girls. Later, the Jaycees for both young men and young women is excellent helping putting it all together and growing even more.

1. English language - basic reading, writing, speaking fundamentals (rules, grammar, spelling, pronouncing basics plus vocabulary building in nouns, adjectives, adverbs and action verbs.) - Speed reading, understanding & comprehension
2. Math basics (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing 3 and 4 figure digits in the head without the use of electronic aids. In addition, up to at least the "12 tables" known.) Then be able to solve various word problems of potential practical everyday math situations. In addition to the above, algebra, geometry, calculus needs to be learned as well.
3. Geography - American geography (states, capitals and main cities and where they are in relationship to other states and areas of the country) as well as world geography (countries and their capitals and relationship to other nations and size of nations). Included in this is map reading and a sense of direction. Critical to know prior to learning the following Social Studies and History and Geo-politics subjects.
4. Social Studies includes human nature, kinesics or the art of reading others like a book; differences between men and women and children and other extended family members; various religions of the world with emphasis on the 3 major religions; various cultures of the world and of nations AND human relations between them all
5. History - both American history AND world history. Then Geo-politics to put the world into perspective with meaning and understanding of events as they occur and then with that understanding and perspective, projecting future events before they happen. Very accurately. Others will wonder how did you know. (If I as a no-name nobody can do this, you definitely can.) The world is still filled with human beings so the need to learn about human beings and how they think and act and the various tendencies each might have helps be pro-active in how to interact with others regardless of their background or their environment. Business and leadership decisions then become real simple keeping you ahead of the norm with little to no effort. Again, people will wonder about you and your knack to pin-point correct decisions that "seem" out-of-the-norm.
6. Practical Arts & Performing Arts. - Music appreciation with a major emphasis on the uplifting, soothing, pleasurable classical and why. Learn to play different types of music while eliminating the perverted, discordant, degenerated modern music—of a wail, a dirge, a moan, a squawk or a rhythmic erotic fast beat. It really does matter what YOU and YOUR family listen to. So, it is important to learn to discern what is beneficial and what is not. Do try to find a way to listen to at least 2 hours of classical music a day. Perhaps while going to and from work or in the background while having dinner and other family time together. One hour a day minimum is excellent. Two hours a day is even better. Then, watch your stress level plummet while your overall disposition level becomes the envy of everyone around you. - choose an instrument and learn to play it - check out various classical stations like the "Kids Classical Hour" and plan on going to concerts or check out www.playmusic.org

Personal issues, Home Economics or Domestic issues, Industrial Arts - hygiene; how to choose clothing for success whether casual or formal and everything in between or make it yourself; clothing acquisition and maintenance such as laundry vs. dry cleaning; keeping living area or home neat, clean and in order AND why; preventive care vs. maintenance vs. replacement of "things". In other words, being self-sufficient while increasing quality AND saving money.
3. How to find, buy or lease or rent and maintain physical items, such as an automobile, home, furniture and furnishings, technology and more. Also included in this course is the how to lower costs and stress while increasing being self-sufficient with higher quality knowing what you have is rock-hard sound.
4. Basic home maintenance such as the simple wiring, plumbing, replacement of items like hot water tank, appliances and to know when they need replacement and whether you want to tackle the job or farm it out to a professional.
5. How to and where to go for additional information on just about any subject.
