The Academy & Its Students

The training starts with the RECEPTIVE individual.  (Check out the "Age Receptivity" discussion.)  The ideal receptive student would be when those individuals are real young or the younger the better when they have not learned all sorts of negatives that they first will have to unlearn before they can begin to learn the positives.  Those individuals, those children, would be the ideal students.

This AGS Life Academy is geared not so much with those real young individuals, but more towards those individuals with some knowledge and experiences already.  Especially, those high school aged and above to older well established individuals who, unfortunately, have acquired the wrong knowledge and wrong experiences and now want more out of life.  The results of their life show that.  Some call them "Down and Outers".  We choose to call them "Basket Cases" for a very good super positive reason.

They know there must be a better way.  And, they want to find out how to achieve it.  They know they need more education to get ahead.  They are willing to humble themselves to learn AND re-learn what they should have learned a long time back so they can get out of "the mess" they are currently in.  They are willing to check out unconventional sources like AGS Life Academy.

The founder's former Comprehensive Financial Planning practice had to deal with many "issues" prior to or in conjunction with the financial situation in homes or businesses.  He dealt with the full gambit of issues putting a lot of families and a lot of businesses together.  Their finances were then a synch.

Using the analogy of the son wanting his father to play with him and the dad just wanting to rest for awhile, he tore up a page out of a newspaper which was of the world telling the son, "When you put it together, come back and I'll play with you."  Within minutes the son was back with the picture together and told the dad, "You promised.  Now play with me."

The dad was shocked in how fast the son had put the picture together.  To which the son responded, "On the back side was a picture of the family and if you put the family together, you put the world together in the process."

Textbooks NOT the Norm

The textbooks here at AGS Life Academy are NOT the normal textbooks you'd find in ANY other educational institution.  At least, that we know of.  That is the reason the world is the way it is - mediocre at best with loads of problems in almost every direction.  If they had these textbooks and this 6 months foundation, the world would be a great place without the devastation type problems it has.  We believe that and can back up this claim to anyone serious and open minded enough to listen.

The textbooks selected here were selected for a very good reason.  To teach the students how to PREVENT future problems BEFORE they occur.  They are designed to teach the fundamentals of life in general.  In how to LIVE life.  People are not stupid.  They know how to earn a living or can figure that out on their own.  But, there is no school nor college that we know of that teaches how to live life, never mind how to live life abundantly.  Nor in how to think for themselves.

AGS Life Academy does.  And a lot more.  These selected textbooks out of all the textbooks available worldwide are the best to do that.  Especially in the order they are given here.  You can find that on the Foundation page and why which are in which order.

Again and granted, they are NOT the norm but will prove to be the best for those that are serious that want to be someone special.  Regardless of their current background or their current situation.

Then, once the students have those basics or have internalized certain principles, they can expect they can turn themselves around becoming someone special.  Actually, someone super special.  And we mean that in the fullest sense of the term.  (If we can do it, anybody can!  YOU have no excuse!)  We expect they, in the process of turning themselves around, will turn others around as well.

Those that are serious about being sick and tired of being sick and tired saying "enough is enough", hungering and thirsting for a change, a major change, these textbooks are the best they could find anywhere, at any price.  Especially for a short brief 6 month study period to change our lives profoundly for the better, guaranteed.

Endure To The End

Endure to the end is a term some may recognize.  It means in relationship to AGS Life Academy that the students endure the full 6 months.  Step by step.  One step before the other step exactly as it is laid out here.

If someone cuts short their transition, they are cutting short their transformation to being a Rolls Royce type leader with all the benefits associated with that leadership.  They cut short the prestige, the glamour, the extra money and the riches they could have had.

But, perhaps, the biggest item they cut short is their happiness and living life abundantly.  

Just like any race one wants to enter.  For example, the Boston Marathon of 26 miles.  Lots of people enter the race, but how many actually finish the race?  Aren't there lots of drop outs along the way?  

Don't be one of those.  A drop out.  When you slip and fall as you will, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, turn around and get started again.  It WILL be worth it.  We know.  We've been there.  First hand.

Run the race here as if you were running from a grizzly bear.  Seriously and not half-heartedly.  With commitment and zeal.

For those critics, we have two questions.  First, would YOU consider yourself humble enough to go back to the basics learning new things or perhaps even being called a Down and Outer or a Basket Case?  And, second question is have YOU read these books?   These textbooks?

If you are not nor have not been a Down and Outer, then how do YOU know what a Down and Outer feels?  How do YOU know what a Down and Outer thinks?  How do you tell us you UNDERSTAND what they are going through?  If you are not a or have never been a Down and Outer, then what do you know about being a Down and Outer?  

Take it a step further.  Do you teach the true values of life, the essential basics?  What is the meaning and purpose of life, the way to peace, to happiness and abundant well-being?  

These basics are never taught in public education or critic circles.  Everyone fights amongst everyone else as to your own garden variety of answers.  Everyone does their own thing for their own reasons.  Why?  In essence, none of you have yet discovered them for yourselves so how can you teach them to others?

Where would you place arrogant BP and the gulf oil problem of 2010?  Which side of the argument - your formal educational system of GET or our unconventional transformation from the inner core GIVING system?

Isn't your formal education what produced or at least helped produce this world's problems today?  In a number of literally blatant devastating directions?  Just follow the masses to slaughter and destruction and chaos and anxiety galore.  The world trends show this is the case.  The world is a powder keg ready to explode, again, if one is honest with at least themselves.

If you are a critic AND haven't read these textbooks or studied these textbooks nor are a Down and Outer or Basket Case, what gives YOU the right to claim this 6 months unorthodox educational system doesn't work?

Mark our word.  These are coming and coming in horrible quantities.  We have passed the point of no return.  They cannot be stopped.  And we, as well as others, lay the blame squarely on this world's educational system for the most part.  Not only for what they teach, but, more importantly, what they do NOT teach.  

They have produced the "leaders" and "professionals" in various levels of business, industry and government today.

Now, it is time to look beyond that soon-coming time when the need to re-organize EVERYTHING with a new cadre of leaders.  Hence, AGS Life Academy.

Having Said That

Having said all that, we do want to go on record as supporting SOME formal education.  There are SOME good aspects of public formal education and there are some great teachers and educators.  But, without the premise of what is here at AGS Life Academy, they miss the fundamentals in what they teach.  They need this unorthodox education of this Academy FIRST, prior to their education.  Then, a lot more of what they teach would be more than acceptable.

There ARE some really good teachers and educators that have a lot of great things to show for their efforts.  And, we don't want to downplay what they have done.  We know several that could easily be placed in this category.

Our point about the formal educational process in general of teaching being mediocre at best, going with the flow, GET system produces lots of problems and costs lots of money in too many ways.

In other words, get the foundation FIRST and then ... re-structure what is taught with this GIVING foundation in mind.  This GIVING way is one of the missing dimensions in education.

As mentioned before, the first step in developing your own style is copying.  Obey those over you while you learn what is right and what is not.  Once you understand all that goes into something, then you can develop your own style.  Somethings you will want to continue following and obeying while other things you may choose to not follow.  The key is to learn how to think and discern the difference.  The difference between right and wrong.  Cause and effect.  And prove it.  It really is free choice.

Reality - NO Magic Pill

With all due respect, there is no magic pill to give people what they need to live life.  Life is a series of Causes and Effects.  For this effect, one must do this cause.  Simple formula.  Unfortunately, many psychologists and other well-meaning and well-intentioned intellectuals think one can be given hand-outs and they will turn themselves into marvelous great wonders.  Somehow.  Just take "the edge" off to jump start them.

That just is not the case.  Most of the time, it does just the opposite.  Handouts make people dependent on others for the simple reason "Why work or do something, I'm going to be fed, clothed and have a roof over my head in any case?  I'll be provided for."

If you want to jump start someone, take the handouts away and see how fast people react.  When they get hungry, they will react.  Guaranteed.  We know.

Years ago, actually, now decades ago, when the Founder was on unemployment, he didn't work and took advantage of the system.  Yet, when the benefits stopped unexpectedly, within one week, he had 4 jobs - 2 full time jobs and 2 part time jobs.  No money coming in is great motivation.  No money means no food and people get hungry.  

Amazing what "the takers" will do when they get hungry.  Now, there are legitimate reasons some times for handouts and the Founder has been there as well.  He knows both ways first hand.  When one way is ok and when it is not.

Hopefully, "the takers" can be directed in a positive way as he was.  Some, unfortunately, have come to rely on the handouts (and there are legitimate reasons for certain handouts, but not nearly what this land has come to expect) and therefore when they are taken away, they riot wanting and demanding they be restored.

AGS Life Academy goes on the assumption many (not all "the takers" but many) people do not want to be dependent on others for their income, their food, their clothing, their shelter, or anything else.  They are sick and tired of being sick and tired groveling for handouts.  They want to be free so they can be dependent on themselves and themselves only.  Self-sufficient.  They want more than what the diminishing handouts can provide.  Cause and effect.

Another Digression - point to be made

Reminds the Founder and President of a former speaker brought in to their group awhile back who was in an iron lung.  He was paralyzed from the neck down and had no control of anything below his neck.  Obviously, that included his arms, hands, legs, feet and other members of the body.  Those body parts were useless.  Yet, he had his mind and his mouth.

He traveled all over the world speaking giving lectures to audiences who would drive hours to come see and hear him.  Airplanes were specially equipped to accommodate him.  Each occasion he received standing ovations at the conclusion of his inspirational talks.  And the write-ups in the local papers didn't do him justice even though they were glowing.

Our point is, if he, being totally paralyzed from the neck down could work, what is YOUR excuse?

We believe, take away the handouts (again, there are legitimate reasons for some handouts) and watch how fast people react.  Cause and effect.  Actually, the Good Book says that if one doesn't work, they don't eat.  That's simple, isn't it?

Then, once one is receptive to be taught, let's teach them what they need to know and part of that is how to react.  Teach them how to think as thinking comes before doing.  Remember, the father of action is thought.

Teach them how to work for something in return.  Like money that can be converted into whatever their needs are.  In other words, "No pain without gain."  You want gain, work for it.  There is no magic pill.

AGS Life Academy teaches the fundamentals like you can't get anyplace else.  And presents those fundamentals in an easy learnable fashion.  But, it does take work.  Easy and quite fun work.  But, still it is work.  Serious, easy, fun work.

Actually, the Founder has found over the years from his former professional practice days that some of those removed from the handouts make some of the best workers.  Initially, they may baulk, fight, yell, scream and do all sorts of things, but in the end, they really do work well.  Very well, actually.

They bring a different mindset to the work force that is excellent.  They have motivation.  They have Enthusiasm, excitement and zeal.  Once they learn how to work, they really are outstanding workers and leap over "normal" workers.  AGS Life Academy would be excellent for these people as we believe they would take this training and fly with it.  At any level of the Age Receptivity.

His dad used to say it this way.  "You don't work, you don't eat.  Real simple.  But remember, you are paid in direct proportion to the amount of help you help others.  You want to be paid a bunch?  You'd better help a bunch of others."  

Cause and effect.  Work and get paid.  Learn how to work smart and not just harder and get paid more.  Learn how to work AND live life AND really enjoy living tremendously.  It really is a choice.  Work is associated with eating and how one works is associated with how well one eats and lives life.  Simple formula.  

What AGS Life Academy is all about.  Eating well and living life well.  Actually, abundantly.  The every day practical street smarts to do just that.

THINK!

AGS Life Academy will get students to THINK for themself. They will go back to the basics and learn some theory but more importantly the practical street smarts of living life building in stress-free flexibility.  Principles is what they learn.  And they can transfer those principles to any field or industry or life anywhere in the world.  The principles never change.  Circumstances do.

They will consider the big picture while tailoring it to themself.  Not take for granted what they are told by any fallible human being, including us.

The student of AGS Life Academy as they learn and implement what they learned will set the personal example for others to realize the student of AGS Life Academy is different in a super positive way.  Those around our students will want to follow in the student's footsteps.

The results of the AGS Life Academy student's living style is higher than their peers in peace, prosperity, stress-free happiness deep from within.  This attitude can't help but bubble to the surface and show to those around them.  Our students will teach others how to live life abundantly in stress-free harmony and prosperity and peace.

While the basics or certain principles are being learned, an additional aspect of the training will take place.  Much more profound training.  Their eyes will be more open and receptive to learning what is true and what is deceptive.  AND how some "truth" is twisted.  And more importantly, how to DISCERN in the fullest sense of the word.

The AGS Life Academy is not designed to pass any governmental requirement but the practical everyday requirement of living life with other human beings on earth giving an outstanding foundation for leadership.  It is designed for higher level leadership situations tailorable to the career or industry of the students desire.

FREE or Low Cost or Extremely Inexpensive

AGS Life Academy is FREE and the things espoused from it are either free or low cost or extremely inexpensive.  We know what it is like to be poor with nothing.  And we do mean nothing.

Therefore, everything here is presented as if YOU, the potential student, is like that - poor with nothing.  A basket case of basket cases.  That was the Founder and President.  This Academy removes all obstacles from your excuse list.

Eventually and hopefully, certain aspects of AGS Life Academy may have a token low cost fee associated with it, such as the Certificate Program or the Diploma Program.  As those programs are introduced to your awareness, they will clearly display the fees associated with their respective programs.  

And, ... each of those programs also offer a no-cost alternative option so there really is no excuse for anyone not to take any program on this site.  Quite frankly and actually, we'd prefer that students do and take advantage of these no-cost alternatives.  You can do more to assist with AGS Life Academy's growth in the process.

Therefore, when we claim a FREE website Academy, we mean a FREE website and Academy.

These textbooks are not like most textbooks in mainstream colleges and universities costing upwards of hundreds of dollars a piece.  The textbooks at AGS Life Academy - all 10 of them - may run from a penny to a few dollars  a piece.  But they should not be more than $10 each.  Shipping may add another $4 or $5 or so a piece to each book.  We recommend used as you want the information, not the prettiness of the book.  

Therefore, the total cost for ALL 10 of your textbooks at AGS Life Academy should be under $125 maximum.

You might try Amazon.com, ebay.com, or other online book outlets or more locally in book stores.  Some of the above books and material cannot be acquired through local stores and must be acquired online.

How is that for costs?  $125?  That's it at AGS Life Academy!   Both the AGS Life Academy textbooks and online website?  There is a Registration fee of $50 but even that can be waived if you don't want to pay it or can't.  

Mainstream educational institutions may be tens of thousands of dollars and this one a maximum of $125.  How's that to keep your costs down?  Can YOU afford $125?  Especially for what you get?  The free online website AND all that knowledge and experience in all those textbooks IN 6 months?  You should say, "WOW!"

The Graduates

The graduate of AGS Life Academy needs to KNOW certain basic information for situations where there might be extended time without water, food, electricity, shelter, automobile or other "normal" common elements taken for granted today.  Remember, earthquakes and "natural" disasters are on the rise and they are becoming more violent all the time.  Think of the aftermath of these and other devastation type events.  Perhaps in YOUR back yard or YOUR community...

Every item in the program at AGS Life Academy is to stimulate the mind to THINK.  And be flexible.  And a "can do" take personal charge attitude.  Able to lead other people.  

The AGS Life Academy graduate will be able to do more than what is expected setting the example for others AND in a way others will immediately want to thank them for who they are in helping them.  That serving leadership will become as a second nature, yet really first.  A way of life.  A way of life others will really appreciate and gravitate to uncontrollably.

AGS Life Academy graduates, therefore, will be expected to do more during their time with AGS Life Academy.  And because of what they will endure AND learn, more IS expected of them.  They WILL set the example and watch others follow their example.

AGS Life Academy is fast becoming a possible replacement for most mainstream colleges or universities that in reality teach mediocrity at best in how to earn a living but not how to live life.  Or, at least, a necessary first step before any college or university.  Some students decide to postpone college or university 6 months and go through AGS Life Academy first.  Why?

Graduates of this academy will graduate debt free regardless of the level selected.  At the upper full Academy level, a 20 hour a week co-work-study program will be implemented to pay off whatever little fees there may be.

We challenge all those that think they don't need this site to do the same thing.  Make this site your home page for 30 days and see if even YOU have not taken a turn for the better.  If YOU have not made some dramatic life changing decisions in the next 30 days.  For the better.  Then just think if it has been your home page and caused you to have done what it has for you in 30 days, what would it do for you if it was your home page for the full 6 months?

Having said that, he does NOT want people to look to him, Gary F. Restall, as anyone super special.  Actually, he is a no-name nobody.  He doesn't claim to know it all.  No man does - knows it all.  He is still learning, but, over the decades, he has learned what works and what does not work.  Some times, the hard way.  AND, ... he has certain values.  And a huge universe-sized vision.

The Founder and President's Vision  

He wants people to learn for themselves the basic principles of living life AND understand what they are - somebody special just by the mere fact they are a human being - AND how to use those principles profitably for themselves AND all concerned.  

One day, hopefully, these principles will be ingrained throughout the world by the masses as the classical music "The System" in Venezuela has done with classical music.  Deep down in the heart.  The inner core of people.  And passed on to future generations after them.

Two Fold Vision

This vision is actually multi-part.  One part is to help people help themselves now urgently.  One part is to help them by setting goals for 6 months out to become someone special, which they can be.  One part is developing their inner core to change their life-style on their own becoming self-motivated to continuously improve themselves and not look to others.  Be self-supportive. 

So, the first part of the vision is raising the standards of individuals - whether worst case possible "Basket Cases" (individuals or small to medium sized businesses) or CEO's, Presidents, Board Members or anyone in between - to be future Rolls Royce type leaders.  They will set the example for those around them getting them to change their attitudes as well.

The second part of the vision is more far in the future after reality sets in from watching the news, the world and learning about international geo-politics and human nature.  The cycle is about to change.  And, change suddenly and stunningly when it does.  The need for future leaders of a different breed will be huge.  

AGS Life Academy explains these cycles AND this cycle is different than any before it.

AGS Life Academy graduates will be ready to fill the void.  Tomorrow's leaders will be ready as they are drafted in the particular industry, field, position they are called to take over.

That is his vision.  The big picture.  As one of the books said, "Dream big dreams as some will come to pass.  Rather than shoot for the mountain top, shoot for the stars.  Then, if you don't hit the moon, there is a good likelihood that you will hit the mountain top.  If you had set your sights on the mountain top and didn't make that, you might only hit the top of a little hill.  Therefore, how big can you dream?"

The Founder & President wants the universe.  Not the stars.  Not the mountain top.  The universe.  And, he believes that is very achievable.

That is what he is after by establishing and presiding over AGS Life Academy.  To see the hearts and minds of this world one at a time or a few at a time turned around to peace, prosperity, integrity and honesty and a whole lot more.  Now AND in the future.

Is It Possible?

He believes it is.  Actually, he has already proved that it is.  For example, his former 450 page educational website WWW.AGSFINANCIALSERVICES.COM had outstanding statistics his web host was going through with him one night.

Actually, the host was shocked as they host over 70,000 entities from Fortune 100 companies to just the one or two page individual accounts.  

During that review, he told the Founder/President with NO advertising nor ANY marketing other than the website itself for years  [he had built up a good relationship over the years prior to that and the host knew what the Founder was doing and not doing], the site generated over 58,000 unique visitor hits in 79 countries in its last full year of being online.  Out of those hits, 54.7% bookmarked the site on their first visit.  That is huge he said.  He said none of their other hosted sites had any statistics any where close to that.  None.

That bookmark rate from his perspective indicated a word of mouth distribution of the site that was solid.  People somehow found the site.  They liked it.  Bookmarked it.   And then, told others about it.  And with word of mouth spreading only, over 58,000 in 79 countries found the site.  It was educational and a targeted educational site.  And this was before Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other Social Networks.  Which made it that much more astounding.

He went on to say that over 90.4% of those that bookmarked the site came back multiple times.  Which means those that were on the site not only liked what they found there but thought it highly enough to come back  many  times.

This AGS Life Academy site, even in its unfinished state, has already accomplished some similar situations that we are aware of.

One individual that was asked for his feedback, was pleasantly surprised with it.  Actually, all those asked for feedback, have been pleasantly surprised and quickly bookmarked the site.  But, this one individual told us he sent the site around to everyone in his mailing address book with a caption, "Found this site.  Worth taking a look.  What do YOU think?"

Out of all the others that the site has been shared with one-on-one, not one has not been pleasantly surprised with and hasn't bookmarked the site themself.  Or least, that is what they volunteered to us.

So, are these goals achievable?  We think yes.   But, the key is what do YOU think?
