After recent discussion with a medical doctor who strongly suggested and encouraged that this position is needed.  Especially, he said, to speak before the medical profession nationwide.  Doctors usually have ONLY 1 to 3 hours in school on nutrition.   They have not studied what  prevents  health problems but are trained on  after-the-fact  issues.

It is common knowledge that drugs and medications are formulated to make money, not necessarily help individuals get better and off them.  "The timing couldn't be better.  The industry is ripe for the truth."  that doctor told me.

Funny that you sent this article, Gary.  I have had a dozen such treatise crossing my email, the past week or so.  Makes one rethink what has been held as "sacred truth" in the scientific world.  So often, we have been duped by the researchers, who skew the data to fit their beliefs.  Nowhere is that more obvious than in pharmaceutical trials.

"I sat through some lectures in Indiana last weekend, by a supposedly credible resource.  I was frankly very disappointed, as she completely dismissed raw foods, and supplements as basically junk.  She gave several examples, all of which represented some lousy data, as I have read some of them, then at the end, gave as a resource "Quackbusters", which completely negated everything she said, as the infamous Dr. Barrett has been sued quite successfully, on several occasions, for libel.  I was so disappointed."

Some Quick Background - WHY This report

Originally, this "report" was a recap of things I learned over the years.  I wanted to put it all down on paper in a somewhat organized manner for my own benefit only.

Then, I learned there are lots of other individuals and families concerned about their health as I have been about my health.

I have also visited or taken several courses, seminars and trainings on various aspects of what others considers are causes for good health.  For the most part, they have been disjointed.

Therefore, have attempted to make this more an all-purpose report as a launching pad for others to glean from my research and learnings so far.  That they - you - don't have to start at the beginning and learn from scratch as I have done.  Or .... perhaps, fine tune what you are already doing.  Hopefully, it will save you decades of research, experience and observation ... AND ... less health issues for YOU and YOUR family.

Hence, happy reading and to YOUR good health this is presented.  And presented FREE.

I am NOT of the medical profession nor am I attempting to give medical advice.  I am NOT a degreed nutritionist either.  I don't claim to know it all.  Just the opposite.  I'm still learning.

AND, I am a regular everyday nobody.  But, health is important to me.  Yes, I have studied what makes one healthy and what does not.  As a nobody, I have learned a few things over the decades.  Hence, this report.  Again, it began primarily for myself.

If you have some things you'd like to share with me, I am very willing to listen, read up on and possibly add to this all-purpose list.  Having said that, there are some things I've already learned I want no part of and am just not interested in. So, please do not be offended if I choose not to post your items here.

These are MY learnings so far with a few added items from others and again, the foundation was originally and still is for my own benefit.  If someone else can benefit, great.  But, it was and is for my own benefit primarily.  What do they say - the teacher learns more in preparing to teach others...

If you don't have good health, it doesn't matter what goals you may have, nor the education you seek to prepare yourself to achieve those lofty goals of yours.

Therefore, take your health seriously.  It will not only save you money.  It will also give you happiness you can't believe. 

These techniques are just  simple  and  easy  techniques that can readily be found by searching for yourself, should you choose or ask me for research info.  A lot of which can readily be found on the internet with due diligence.

The Bibliography is still being developed so, unfortunately, it is not available at this time.  Sorry.  If you ask, I can somewhat point you in the right directions where some of this came from in the meantime and should you desire.

Therefore, I strongly suggest and encourage you the reader to prove all things for yourself.  Do not accept my no-name list of health techniques.  Do your own investigation and prove it yourself.  

As I am well known to say and in following another super successful person's comments - DON'T BELIEVE ANY HUMAN BEING ON EARTH, INCLUDING ME.  PROVE IT FOR YOURSELF.  EVERYTHING.

To have robust energy, vitality and clear mind, consider your diet. What YOU put into your mouth. A former doctor friend long ago shared with me "Gary, over 90% of ALL illnesses and diseases are diet related."  

Another individual said it this way, "At least 90 percent of all sickness and disease is either directly or indirectly related to what we eat! Yet most physicians do not hammer this point home because they refuse to tackle the cause of poor health. Keep it simple. Listen to the God who created us."

That same individual said, "Most sicknesses are brought on by diet or our own doing.  Our own lifestyle." He continued by saying, "Medical errors - 225,000 deaths [mid 1980s with lots more now]- are caused by medical professionals each year with needless operations and drugs."

I since have done lots of research into nutrition, various foods and the entire food industry as well as various diets and health in general. What I've found supports that statement by that doctor - "Gary, over 90% of ALL illnesses and diseases are diet related." It supports all those others who claim we need to learn about nutrition, our diets and how to BE HEALTHY. When you add another dimension, you can increase the chances of being healthy even more. I'll explain as we go.

Remember: cause and effect. In almost every case, disease thrives in an environment well suited for it. Just as insects, cockroaches, mice and rats are attracted to a run-down shack, so do viruses and diseases look for a home, like YOU perhaps, that has not been well maintained. It doesn't matter if by ignorance or by design, the outcome is the same.

Would you put sand or water in the gas tank of your automobile and expect it to run well?  The same analogy is correct for the human body. Garbage in and sickness and illnesses is produced.

Elbert Hubbard once said, "Disease comes only to those who have been preparing for it."

As a very highly respected international individual said, "If the body is sick or diseased, it is telling you that you are or did or someone else is/did something wrong.  There is no reason the body should be sick or diseased ... unless we do something wrong.  It was made perfectly to be healthy and remain that way for a hundred or so years." 

According to The Wall Street Journal, December 28, 2010 article, "So Young And So Many Pills" by Anna Wilde Mathews, more than 25 % of kids and teens take medications in the U.S. on a regular basis.  Unhealthy diets and lack of exercise are listed as causes to this astounding fact.  Some of these medications are for adult issues with not enough testing on children for the correct dosage or side effects.

 

Therefore, from the extensive research, study, observation and personal experience so far, please consider these strong BRIEF subsequent suggestions to improve YOUR and your family's health and well being and stop "doing something wrong". Use this recap of decades to your advantage.

Understand these are generic suggestions for the most types of people. Let them be a launching ground from where to do your own research. So your body won't get sick nor diseased telling you something was done wrong someplace. Or, ... time to clean up the run-down shack and get rid of the cock-roaches, rats, insects that are crawling around inside you so to speak.

At the same time, I am NOT saying I have learned everything about diets and nutrition there is to know. Nor am I saying there is not a place for the medical profession. There are things they can do and help, such as setting broken bones, sewing up in emergencies and other repairs, but they cannot HEAL. There is a lot WE individually can do for ourselves to PREVENT the need for outside assistance in correcting OUR OWN mistakes BEFORE they occur with the corresponding suffering penalties.

The following suggestions are highlights of decades of research so far. There is sufficient evidence why each is on this list. If you can't find enough material on the internet or elsewhere, write me and ask why they are here, if you want. Again, they are generic. These aren't the end-all to good and proper health. Just a kick-start in your own campaign of searching and proving. But, they have been proven without a doubt to work and work dramatically.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND - I AM NO MEDICAL DOCTOR.  NOR AM I GIVING MEDICAL ADVICE.  NOR AM I A DEGREED NUTRIONIST.  BUT THE PUBLIC DOMAIN RESEARCH OF READABLY AVAILABLE MATERIAL IS SUFFICIENT TO KNOW THESE SUGGESTIONS WORK!

For example, at 65 years of age, I haven't seen a doctor nor taken any medications now in over 10 years and that last doctor visit resulted in only a recommended diet workshop. That visit was due to eating 3 prime ribs and other great sweet foods and desserts in one week while on vacation. Then as well as today, I could probably run circles around most teenagers.

Yes, during a recent work-related medical exam, I have recently been told I have high blood pressure and that is partially due to my faulty diet and lack of exercise AND other's faulty doings with foods that I have bought and/or have consumed. Also, as mentioned elsewhere here, part of it may also be caused from sometimes heavy microwave usage.

The foods are not what they used to be requiring an even more active and diligent attention and researching on our part. I have taken this seriously and am addressing it actively. Without drugs nor medications. Those I refuse to take.  It is being done naturally.  

As said before, the body was not designed to be sick or ill, so if there is a problem, then it is trying to tell us something.

I am actively addressing my issues and I believe the blood pressure is coming down as I begin to do what I should have done before and am now doing better. It has been as high as 210 plus over 112 plus. Yet, I believe, I still will run circles around most teenagers and shortly the high blood pressure will be normal WITHOUT THE MEDICAL PROFESSION. I have refused any medication, drugs or any foreign substance of any kind. If it is not natural, I don't want it. Pills are not natural. I am not saying this to brag, but just to let you know there are alternatives to the medical profession. During that exam, those in the know could not find any other problems with my health. [That was several years ago, and I have continued a very full active life.]  

I have added to my wealth of health knowledge because of that episode.  Now, I believe even stronger the need to get this information out to the largest audience possible.  There is a lot of mis-information out there in the public sector.  For various reasons.  Some of which are for monetary reasons knowing it is NOT the truth!

How's your health?  When have you seen a doctor last or taken any medications? Was it over 10 years ago? Can you run circles around most teenagers?

To YOUR Good Health & Wellness

1.  Eat Whole Wheat Flour - No white flour - Eat the whole grain flour products.  Especially organic. Eliminate ALL white flour products.  This includes bread, pasta, etc.  I personally like the great tasting wholesome sprouted Ezekiel 4.9 bread and have found other whole wheat products not only healthy, but enjoyably tasteful.

You parents owe it to your children who don't have your knowledge, experience and thinking ability to educate them in what is good and not good for them. And then train them while they are young so when they are older, they will continue in the ways that work. 

In other words, if you decide to convert back to whole wheat products, then there may be some "discussion", but when the choice comes down to either eat what's available or starve, I believe they will decide what is best for them as I did when my parents taught me when growing up ... without ANY back-talk.

White flour causes all those "itis" diseases - colitis, diverticulitis, etc.

2.  Use raw sugar or raw honey and no white sugar nor synthetic sugar or "pure" honey - eliminate ALL white sugar from your diet replacing white sugar with RAW honey or RAW sugar.  

Do NOT use any synthetic sugar. They, too, are real bad for you and your health, especially over time.  Amazing what the "authorities" allow to be made from harmful and potential harmful ingredients and then to go into so-called sugar or substitute sugar.  Worth the investigation.  Yes, even all of those substitute sugars.  Will blow the mind.

Therefore, eliminate ALL soda beverages especially and all pre-manufactured and pre-packaged snacks.  Amazing how much sugar is in these products.  And other unknown garbage.  

Beverages wash the insides of your body as water washes your clothes in a washing machine.  Would you use Pepsi, Coke or Dr. Pepper to wash your clothes?  Then, why use it to wash the insides of YOU?  

Train up your children to drink fresh clean wholesome water instead of fat-producing soft drinks, (even one can a day can be disastrous to your health).  There is a direct link to the "soft" drinks one consumes to the amount of fat one has - even one can a day.  Shocking.  Eliminate soda and begin the reduction process.

Convert to RAW sugar or RAW honey as well as fresh fruits, nuts, dates, etc. for the sweets.

3.  Eat turkey, chicken, beef, lamb & certain other meats and fish like salmon, cod, flounder, trout ... AND ... eliminate all pork or ham or shellfish of any kind.  Pork and shellfish can kill you so eliminate them real fast.  Literally.  Chillingly supported by those in the know that are honest in the medical profession.  

I've personally known one individual who was on his death bed due to this "stuff".  And only one visiting doctor knew the symptoms and quickly diagnosed the problem and saved his life.  Literally.

There are multiple other reasons to eliminate these products of pork and shellfish and switch back to healthy varieties of meat and fish.  Unfailingly make the switch back to healthy foods.

Preferably organic and natural from their own habitat without hormones and other additives.  Choose those items having been raised "naturally".

READ the ingredients of package as they may still contain all sorts of pork products in them.  Amazing where you can find these, even cheese...  

Reading the label is essential as pork and shellfish have been incorporated into too many products on the shelves in stores.  Some are very obvious while others are hidden.  It does take diligence ... and ... know you are not alone in learning about this harmful dietary mess.  New ways to incorporate pork into prepared convenience packages and products are coming on the market daily so it will take continued diligence to search them out AND keep them out.

You may want to consider the article "Is All Natural Flesh Good Food?" by Herbert W. Armstrong from the PLAIN TRUTH magazine, February 1958, page 9.  If you don't have a copy, write or ask me for it.

4.  No pre-manufactured and pre-packaged products as they contain all sorts of horrible "garbage" which are NOT good for the body.  Can you read the ingredients?  Are they natural?  Are all the ingredients even listed?  Is it natural or man-made?  Do you know what those chemicals are or what they do?  Especially when combined with others?  Do the chemicals "leach" into the foods and contaminate them?

As I reviewed this section, heard a radio special report of how pervasive this problem is in so many non-food products as well, yet are health related - cosmetics, hand soap and bubble baths, hair shampoos and a ton of other items.  Serious health hazard (like in some cases, even death or being maimed for life).  The report said currently they are totally legal according to government advertising regulations.  Shocking yet not really when you consider the big picture problem with the entire food industry and the regulatory agencies involved with it.  Money and lots of it talks loudly, unfortunately.

For example, cosmetics.  They are un-natural and harmful to one's skin.  They are deceptive in that they paint over the real beauty of the individual and the inner self telling others they are something they are not.  They are products of a marketing system to promote chemicals and sell products to make money playing on people, especially women, weak vanity.

Have you ever investigated what those products are?  Or the ingredients in those products?  And what happens to the skin over the years?  Let the skin breath naturally without that paint and the real beauty will shine through for life and the skin will not deteriorate in just a few short years.  Besides, no real man really wants to kiss paint regardless of what some marketing specialist calls it.  Be natural.  Not fake.  Use no paint on your face.

That "stuff" can literally kill you after listening to that shocking and chilling radio report.

In other words, take matters into your own hands and do your own research.  Worthy of serious heads up going back to natural.

5.  DO eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Wash them before eating as growers today use all sorts of pesticides and poisons in their sprays and fertilizers.  Try to obtain organic, if at all possible. Better still, grow your own in your own garden without any pesticides or chemicals usage.  Do gardening the natural way for real fantastic benefits galore.  And there are several other side benefits than just saving lots of money when having your own garden.  Try to eat an apple and/or a banana each morning before breakfast when you first rise from sleep.

6.  DO drink lots of fresh water, preferably not tap water that may have killing-germs bleach in it. If necessary, acquire a water purification system like the Amway Water Treatment System as it removes all the bad stuff leaving all the good stuff and pays for itself quickly, especially in good health with no visits to the doctor necessary. Heads up though. Not all purification systems are worth your money.

7.  DO get lots of fresh air. Fresh air cleans the lungs and gives energy. Take deep gulps of fresh air filling the lungs and exhaling slowly for best effect.

Outdoor air is very healthy, especially in the country. City air is less healthy but in most cases, better than inside air. Get as much fresh air as possible. Find ways to be outside and play outside and walk outside in fresh air. I've known people move to get fresh air. Worth the consideration.

8.  DO an internet search on alkaline vs. acid diets. There are several helpful charts on the internet of what foods are which. Then attempt to convert your diet to 3/4 alkaline to 1/4 acidic. That is the ratio our bodies are.  We need 2 or 3 times as much alkaline foods than the carbohydrate foods.

Most diets are just the reverse to this ratio or 50-50 at best. Hence, the rampant and very pervasive unchecked sickness in the land. And obesity. Those cockroaches, insects of all sorts, mice and rats so to speak as mentioned above love this upside down majority of the population approach to diets so be aware and on guard.

The body can't deal with the excess acid it gets when the diet is not in the correct ratio. The body is this 3/4 to 1/4 ratio. Hence, the "shack" becomes run down and sicknesses and illnesses occur.

When it gets out of this ratio it gets "sick", therefore, let the body tell you something is wrong - NOT doctors who know little to nothing about what PREVENTS health problems.  Studies have shown sickness cannot get a hold in an alkaline body.  AND ... many times sickness is reversed once the body becomes alkaline again.  Even cancer has been known to be reversed when the ratio has been corrected.

How fast can you convert back to this 3/4 to 1/4 ratio is totally up to YOU. Within 7 days is possible. This technique is perhaps one of the most basic of the techniques with arguably the most power to determine your health ... and quickly, like almost overnight.

Heads up, once you start on any of these techniques and if you have been taking medications, you may want to check with your "medical professional" to see if you can reduce your dependency of those pills (some call poison and there is merit in calling them that) and other stuff. Eventually, perhaps even getting rid of them altogether. You may just become too healthy to need them or even the doctor any more...

9.  Start each day with 2 or 3 freshly squeezed lemons' juice. If not daily, may I suggest perhaps 2 or 3 times a week? This helps get the body back towards the alkaline state it should be. Some prefer to add water to the juice for taste. Personally, I drink it straight.

Then cut the rind into small chunks putting them into a glass container, filling that with healthy water and you have fresh lemonade daily.

One reader of this article/report sent this drink recipe in that he makes regularly as a health drink and energy booster: "It is one fresh squeezed lemon per 12 ounces of distilled water, adding to it one ounce of unfiltered grade B maple syrup for a sweetener and about 1/10 spoon of cayenne powdered pepper. The lemon helps alkalize the system, the grade B maple syrup adds sweetness BUT more importantly, those maple trees have wide and deep roots that go down deep and get the minerals up into the sap - minerals that are depleted out of so much overly farmed and overly chemicalized cropland; and finally, the cayenne pepper which is good for the heart and also, in that amount, adds a pleasant uniqueness to the flavor - all in all, making one good drink. Try it and you will probably add it to your article. "

Speaking about a drink recipe, this is what I use due to reading it in one of the reports on health. This drink recipe is slightly modified from the report I have, but believe it still helps maintain good health and it tastes great. 1 or 2 oz of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/10 spoon of cayenne powdered pepper, an ounce or two of natural maple syrup or raw Blackstrap Molasses, balance of 8 to 10 ounce glass of orange juice. Stir and drink. Awesome.

10.  Return to natural and organic if at all possible. Man in his wisdom has changed so many products from the natural state this technique may prove a real challenge.

Do not go along with advertisements nor marketing of whatever products industry wants to promote. You've probably heard the slogan "Truth in advertising." I ask what truth? The truth the manufacturers claim is true to sell product? The truth the regulatory industry and agencies claim is true to keep their jobs but really substantiate many health disasters claiming to be food as being good? Or the truth of what truly IS good for YOUR body truth? It is well worth the effort to do your own searching and proving what is truth.

For example, return to whole RAW organic milk, preferably not pasteurized nor homogenized. There are lots of elements in that milk that you cannot get from 1%, 2% or any other wanta-be milk. The same thing for butter. Natural organic butter is far superior to margarine or any other butter substitute or make-believe butter.

Free range organic non-animal parts vegetarian fed chickens and eggs not only taste better like eggs and chickens and not cardboard (which is what some chicken raisers use to feed their chickens) but provide what the body needs and not what man's government says it needs. Try it for a month and see if you don't feel better and if your great taste buds don't return so you'll enjoy eating again truly.

These are just a select few examples of returning to nature the natural way it was originally designed before man altered it. Obviously, buy it AND eat it before it spoils.

One rule of thumb is buy what can spoil and eat it before it does.

11.  Eliminate Canola Oil returning to pure Extra Virgin Olive Oil as fast as you can. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is considered the best of all Olive Oils, least processed, comprising the oil from the first pressing of the olives.

Resist the temptation to place your beautiful bottle of olive oil on the windowsill. Light and heat are the #1 enemy of oil. Keep olive oil in a cool and dark place, tightly sealed. Oxygen promotes rancidity. Olive oil is like other oils and can easily go rancid when exposed to air, light or high temperatures.

Many illnesses and diseases may come from this supposedly "recognized" health product called Canola Oil.

Canola oil will stay in your system and joints forever so there may be reasons why your joints ache. Do an internet search on Canola Oil - both the good and bad and where and why it came about. And "authorities" claim it is ok to use in foods?!?!?! And is supposedly healthy and beneficial to people?!?!?

Again, read the labels as you'll be shocked at what manufacturers put in products and is approved for consumption. With just a little investigativeness, it blows the mind what "professionals" and "authorities" allow as good.   Prove it for yourself regardless of what "officials" say. 12. In regards to obesity - In addition to the above comments about removing various sugar products, especially the sodas, try to portion your plate with as much food as you want yet with 2/3 to 1/3 ratio. Two thirds of whatever you eat should be considered "above ground" foods vs. one third "below ground".

In other words, first thing is stop putting on the weight with wrong foods.  Then use the ratio to remove the excess naturally.

Anything that grows above ground would be considered "above ground" while anything that grows below ground is considered "below ground". This behooves one to know or learn what grows above and below ground.

With this ratio of what you consume regardless of quantity, you may begin to watch the pounds quickly flush from your body lowering your weight back to an appropriate level.

Attack obesity by what you eat. It is called the "Heikin Diet" and comes from Hong Kong. The report I have about this diet stems from Thomas Hall Reports back in the 1970s documenting his journey from obesity to slenderness watching the pounds flush from him daily.  The raw apple cider vinegar drink mentioned above stems from this report.

13.  Exercise all joints. Even though this is not concerning your diet, it is considering health.  Remember, over doing something beneficial is just as bad as not doing any.

Do only a simple and relatively easy 4 and 1/2 minutes of standing calisthenics with 25 repetitions each for all of your joints at least 2 or 3 times a week first thing in the morning before the day begins.  Do this for 30 days as new habits take 30 days to form.

Then, as quickly as YOU can, work up to a 20 to 30 minute a day exercise routine possibly within a few weeks, a month or two or three.  Do it at YOUR pace.

(One 50+ year old relatively overweight lady began a walking program where she struggled just to walk a few paces and 4 months later, she has dropped 79 pounds so far and runs 2 1/2 miles on an incline ... easily. She uses a treadmill as her vehicle to exercise. She looks great.)

Amazing what can be done if all we do is start exercising somehow. That was my challenge - finding the time to begin an exercise program. Even the thought of 4 1/2 minutes, I didn't have the time. Fortunately, I made the time.

If you can walk 20 to 30 minutes a day, great. Continue. Even more if possible, especially outside in fresh air breathing deep breaths and walk gingerly. Add that to your calisthenics.

Simple and easy standing calisthenics helps keep each of the joints flexible even re-aligning the body in certain ways. Or, at least that's what I've found when I started doing this simple, quick and easy 4 1/2 minute morning wake up exercise. After 2 to 3 months two or three times a week, I am up to about 30 to 35 minutes of calisthenics each morning in my very private personal bedroom at the present. The stamina has increased where I can actually run short distances but those distances have already gone from nothing to about five minutes. The body FEELS better, tighter and much more agile. It has taken on shape and form of Mr. Hunk Macho. It is the stamina that surprises me.

But your initial 4 1/2 minutes two or three times a week of calisthenics is a great easy and simple key in getting started in some physical activity I've found just about everyone can do in all types of weather.

Don't use the excuse you don't have at least 4 1/2 minutes as that is all it is - an unmerited excuse. If you want good health, it is there for you. You will FIND your 4 1/2 minutes. If not, it just means you don't want good health. (With all due respect, this has been proven over and over again by countless other individuals. Sorry for the bluntness.)

Start slowly based on what YOU can do. Then, work it up to 30 minutes a day within a few weeks and/or a month or two or three. However long it takes to work it up to 30 minutes or so a day. Absolutely essential for great health - exercise somehow.

Lots of side benefits you can't get any other way. It does bring down high blood pressure while rectifying lots of other maladies. Assuming your high blood pressure can be brought down as sometimes due to what we have done to our bodies, that may no longer be possible. Some causes are listed elsewhere on this list of techniques. And I've been told sometimes, there are false readings of high blood pressure... (another sign of our medical profession still PRACTICING as they are learning?????)

I suppose you should check with your medical professional to tell you what you can and can't do without going to excess killing yourself in the process. Again, do what YOU can without doing things to excess.

High Blood Pressure

For high blood pressure you may want to consider doing an internet search for the DASH Diet.  According to some reputable studies, they claim it can be reduced within two weeks by diet.

You mentioned calisthenics for exercise. Many of us have injuries that don't allow that type of exercise, even if we wanted to. And vigorous exercise is not the only way to great health benefits. I would definitely encourage other types of exercise, including yoga and walking, which is still considered one of the best forms of exercise, and you can get the same health benefits as others get from aerobics, jogging or other vigorous exercise. Start out slowly, increase to a brisk walk over time:

Walking is good for your heart. A recent Harvard study shows that walking at a moderate pace (3 mph) for up to 3 hours a week—or 30 minutes a day--can cut the risk of heart disease in women by as much as 40%. This is the same benefit you would get from aerobics, jogging, or other vigorous exercise. The benefits to men are comparable.

Along with its benefits to the heart, walking:

* improves circulation
* helps breathing
* combats depression
* bolsters the immune system
* helps prevent osteoporosis
* helps prevent and control diabetes
* helps control weight (see below)

Studies have also shown that people are most likely to stick to exercise when it is part of their daily lives. Walking is ideal. Once you start looking for opportunities to walk, you will be amazed at how many there are.

14.  Think positive thoughts. Action follows thought so think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, things of virtue and praiseworthiness.  Stop gossip and listening to it or participating in it.  Then watch your peace of mind increase substantially.  Your well being will become happiness and your health will improve.  Try it and see for yourself.

When you are deep in trials and "challenges" of all sorts or even when you just want a great high, find a comfortable chair and count all the blessings you have and should be thankful for. It may take awhile to count them all.

They can come from many different sources, even negative ones as my dad used to say, "No matter how bad things are, always look for the good in it and you will always find them. So rejoice when things look bad. It could be time for a learning experience."

Clean up your environment as it has been proven cleanliness does improve one's mental perspective ... AND ... health.

In this same text, consider your dress or the clothes that you wear. What do they say about you? There is a whole art of the silent communication called Kinesics or body language. Raise the standards of what you wear and notice very quickly how your attitude about yourself and others and situations improve. Really incredible.

More and more people are turning off their TVs as they have determined it is basically sensationalism, junk and violence degrading everything wholesome in the process.  I did this several years ago and I believe that decision was one of the best decisions I've made.  My outlook has substantially improved even though I am not aware of what is currently on TV, nor do I care anymore.  I'm having too much fun without the TV and enjoying life much more abundantly and robustly.

Have you ever considered looking at the lifestyle of the entertainment industry in how sick it is?  It seems they all have problems galore and they are telling the world how to live?  They don't know how to live themselves and deserve to be shut out of our lives, wouldn't you say?  Their lives show up in the filth for movies they promote.    How many can you name are uplifting, positive in nature without sex, greed, corruption, meism in it someplace?

Turn off the TV and selectively watch what goes into your mind.

A Suggestion With Love In The Air

Take the family out on a date at least every 4 to 6 weeks.  Go to or rent one of the above movies.  Make an evening of it.  Make popcorn, have a soda pop and really splurge on the occasion.  It is to have fun, be uplifting with lovely old-fashioned thoughts with meaning while being inexpensive.  

Once the movie is over, don't everyone go their separate ways.  Talk about the movie and what could be learned from it.  What did each of you like?  What did each of you not like?  What are some of the values the movie brings out - good and bad?  If you were in a similar situation, how would you react or handle it?  (That could be asked several times throughout the movie, yet I caution you not to do that till the end or the movie experience may be diminished, especially for the young ones in the family.)  

Remember the age of the participants watching the movie and make the movie selection age-appropriate.  Then the family discussion after can also be appropriate.

Do stay informed on what is going on in the world especially as these times we live in are like no other ever before. Go on the internet for your news. There are 25 to 30 international websites I've bookmarked where I get the majority of my news. And these sites give me instantaneous access to over 100 other news oriented sites. From the far far right to the far far left and a whole bunch in the middle.

15.  Consider "alternate" methods to the dangerous medical profession. Speaking about reading in tip # 13 above, in the context of health, you may want to consider picking up for your own personal library and referring to it often the book "Body Reflexology - Healing At Your Fingertips" by Mildred Carter & Tammy Weber.

Quite frankly, this book I believe should be in everyone's personal home library and used frequently.

Excellent and full of free and wholesome tips that work for great health removing all kinds of pain and suffering naturally. Let the body heal itself as it was designed to do. I got mine on Amazon.com as a pre-owned book for a couple of dollars. You might try ebay.com as well.

Concerning other alternate methods to the "medical" industry of bad to worse dependant-on-them ill-health and needless-death-slowly, you may want to consider the very beneficial cut-the-cord-to-the-medical-establishment Reflexology, massages and chiropractics to name a few alternate possibilities.

The body was not designed to be sick, so if it is, there may be FREE healthful ways to get it back to a healthy state as well as keep it healthy so it won't become sick, diseased or injured.  WITHOUT THE DEADLY MEDICAL PROFESSION.

Again, I am NOT part of the medical field and offer NO medical advice. Just suggestions for your consideration. There are reasons to use the medical profession such as setting broken bones, child births and other limited reasons, but not for what it is presently being sought for by the vast majority of people.  

The medical industry cannot heal.  They do offer concoctions and many of them can help the body do its own thing, but a lot of others does more harm than good.

The BEST source I believe of all great health is The Great Almighty Lord God of the entire universe and beyond who has healed me numerous times as His instruction manual to mankind - The Bible - promises He would.  And, I'm talking major life-threatening issues.  Literally.  I've seen others dramatically healed as well.

In my mind, He created all things so He does know how it should be and can "fix" it if He is asked appropriately in believing faith and obedience. That is all I'll say as I don't believe it is my place to attempt to convert anyone and won't. But, I will acknowledge where my blessings come from.

The medical field does their thing without God in the picture at all.

 


The bottom line outcome of YOUR decisions about YOUR life and YOUR health is what YOU do and what YOU will experience at the hands of others. Cause and effect. What YOU and OTHERS do or don't do affects YOUR health - good or bad.

 

Concerning Alternative Food Supplements - Concerning the ego, greed and vanity-centered man's attempts to be God in creating THEIR version of vitamins, minerals and the various synthetic food supplements, many times the septic system gets more benefit than the human body because the sugar-based shellac-coated man's placebo creation doesn't break down in time for the body to use it, even if it had some nutritive value in it.

Yes, the coatings of those pills are not required to be listed on the ingredients of the pill and yes, they can be sugar-based to taste good and shellac-coated or gelatin form to keep the pill in a somewhat solid form while other undesired coatings also may be used.

Hence, again, the medical profession continues "feeding" the un-trained masses their unhealthy concoctions as they continue to PRACTICE their brand of grabbing your money. For their defense, they don't know what they have not been trained in - how to prevent sickness and illness, but how to go with the flow of their profession regulated by other untrained blind medical practitioners.

Try this experiment - put those pills in some water and see how long it takes for them to break down. If over two hours, the length of time real food takes to go through the human digestive system key parts, it is worthless. The septic system gets more benefit than you do.

Name me one item that man in his wisdom has created or modified that has not turned out later on to be worse than the original God-created version. Look at all the genetically-altered garbage called food man has crammed on the public as good as a prime example. Study after study constantly shows this is true. Garbage.

Hence, many countries ban US food from entering their country and rightfully so in many instances. Eat naturally. You might want to consider as many nations and lots of individuals have started to do, return to what worked for centuries before modern medicine. Go back to the basics. Natural foods as they originally were created.

From my observation and research as well as countless studies have proven, bottom line for me is ... if it doesn't come from totally NATURAL sources the way God originally created it, I don't want it in my body.

If you use the excuse of convenience for not eating healthily, consider you are giving yourself and your family pain and suffering and death one-meal-at-a-time as that individual said in the intro above all in the name of convenience for selfish YOU.

Many products you buy in stores are contaminated with disease causing items all for the sake of profit and convenience. This is easily seen throughout the internet from many sources.

Do your own research about the foods you eat and how to stay away from doctor visits and out of hospitals - go back to nature and grow your own the natural way. The choice is yours - be healthy or be ....

Someone just sent me the following link - Study: 85 percent of drugs are ineffective.  "The biggest swindle in medicine is… medicine."  You be the judge.  I offer it as it was received AND this offering is NOT meant as any endorsement.  Just confirmation the medical profession leaves a lot to be desired.  Go back to the basics AND do YOUR OWN research.

16.  Get into the habit of giving. While a professional Financial Advisor before retiring, I have reviewed many, many, many budgets with people and realized two un-official side observations and quite frankly I believe fantastic benefits while doing so.

I found those that had little to no contributions on a regular basis had the higher health challenges, issues of all sorts and health-related expenses. Not only physical problems themselves, but family relations' problems galore. By contrast, those that had the higher contributions on a regular basis had the fewer or no health-related and family relationship issues and expenses.

The other thing I noticed, again, un-officially, is that with few to no "giving spirit", especially with a cheerfulness and sincere willingness were the most unhappy of all. Those that gave cheerfully and willingly (not begrudgingly), even in their poverty in some cases were the most happy.

In other words, bottom line what I found was the more one gives on a regular basis the fewer health problems. And the happier they were. The less one gave on a regular basis thinking more of themselves first and even only themselves the more the health problems. And the more unhappy they were.

There are two ways of living - one of giving and one of get. Those that live the "give" way live more abundantly and healthy and those that live the "get" way live a less desirable life-style that produces all sorts of problems - not only health related.

You may also want to consider acquiring the great book "Try Giving Yourself Away" by David Dunn. Or perhaps watch the movies "Pay It Forward", "The Ron Clark Story", "Field Of Dreams", "Schindler's List" and others on the list above. Then make it a game on a daily basis. It truly is fun and super rewarding.

17.  "Soy is making kids 'gay' " - Someone sent me an internet article with this title that you may be interested in researching for your own benefit. It is being presented to you as is, if nothing else, for YOUR consideration just as an example of the FDA's watchdog's example of incompetence.

There are so many other articles and information concerning soy readily available on the market to raise flags - do you really want to eat or drink this stuff... Don't assume just because the FDA has approved something, it is good for you! In many cases, it is not!

Just heard a speech on soy and how negative it really is.  And the research is growing as soy is being introduced into more and more products, unfortunately.  Do your due diligence and remove all soy from your diet.  Your body and health and those around you will thank you for it.

18.  Stop using your microwave immediately. According to studies in Switzerland, Russia, Germany and the USA, microwaving foods is harmful to your health. Actually, it is killing you and all those you feed using microwaved foods and/or standing near by active microwaves. Lots of information can also be found in the Eight Volume Lawyers Cyclopedia which is used by lawyers to sue in medical cases.

Do an internet search on the topic "Microwave Cooking Dangers" and "Microwaves and then discontinue using your microwaves immediately. Throw them out as killers.

Eating microwaved foods increases cholesterol, increases white blood cell numbers, decreases red blood cell numbers and causes production of radiolytic compounds (compounds unknown in nature). Cancer and being "out-of-balance electrically" are also by-products. Lots of other simple modern day illnesses and diseases can easily be traced back to this slow suffering killer. That is if one is honest in their thinking after doing their own research.

The extensive studies show proof - evidence - that microwave cooking is not natural, nor healthy, and is far more dangerous to the human body than anyone could imagine. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH WITH "MICROWAVE OVENS + HEALTH" and be surprised with over 2,220,000 items pop up on Google in 0.24 seconds. None are good or positive concerning the use of microwave ovens that I found.

Ten Reasons to Throw out your Microwave Oven

Right THIS minute!

From the conclusions of the Swiss, Russian and German scientific clinical studies, we can no longer ignore the microwave oven sitting in our kitchens. Based on that research, one can easily conclude:

But, as mentioned above, certain countries have begun banning microwaves in their countries.

Could this be the cause of so many cancers, Alzheimer's disease, high blood pressure and countless other health degenerations in the land?

Why don't YOU do the same in your home as Switzerland, Russia and Germany have done? Ban your microwave to the garbage. Ban likewise eating at establishments that use microwaves, especially fast food places as almost every meal is zapped in a microwave.

Stop killing you and your family one-meal-at-a-time or one-soda-at-a-time with needless pain and suffering in the meantime.

 

ALTERNATIVES

You can heat food quickly in a convection oven. It's just an ordinary oven with a fan. Or obtain a toaster oven.

You can also easily and quickly heat up food, even frozen pasta, by using a saucepan with a lid and a little water, to moisten it from the steam.

If someone is coming home late, and you want to give them warm food when they arrive, put a saucepan lid over the food while it is on a plate. Put the plate of food on a simmering saucepan of water. It will stay warm without drying out.

If you want to cook food, do it the old fashioned ways - it will taste much better. And you won't kill yourself or your family one meal at a time.

19.  Get sufficient sleep. Several studies show sufficient sleep increases productivity and good health in many different ways. Preferably during the dark hours of night. You may want to consider 7 to 8 hours a night to be sufficient. Don't skimp or go to excessiveness. As the old adage remains true - do everything in moderation as well as decently and in order. Return to the basics, which continue to have worked century after century after century. Even blood pressure is affected by how much or how little sleep you get. Try to get 7 to 8 hours a night.  If necessary, change jobs or careers.  It really can be that critical.  I know.

20.  Proper elimination is critical to eliminate the toxins in the body. In addition to a good diet, a periodic fast and/or cleansing might be beneficial to do just that - get rid of toxins in the body. Perhaps once a month. These fasts are healthy and won't kill anyone. Begin by skipping a meal or two or a complete 24 hour day of any food or beverage consumption so you will learn you won't die by missing a meal or two or three. Do not go more than a day or two in these type fasts. One day is usually sufficient. There are many other benefits of periodic fasts - no food nor beverage - for physical, mental, spiritual well-being you might learn about in your research.

It is suggested to prepare a day or two in advance for these fasts (no food nor beverage) by eliminating coffee and tea, fried and spicy foods from the diet or headaches and other withdrawal symptoms may develop. Some say these headaches and withdrawal symptoms are signs the body NEEDED that cleansing. Then, watch your diet to make the cleansing flow easier the next time.

21.  Get on a learning program of the various vitamins and minerals, what they are and what they do for the body and where they come from ... naturally. Not man-made pills or concoctions. Why each of them are essential to great health. Then, you'll understand that a wide variety of good natural foods are important to your great health. When you are sick or diseased, can you increase the amounts of whatever is lacking in your diet and how can you get those vitamins and minerals back so you can be in great health again.

Include in your research Bee Pollen and Dandelion. You may be amazed.

Research is quite the learning experience giving you a great appreciation to all sorts of foods AND how to prepare them so you can appreciate them even more in a variety of ways. Again, stay natural in an unconverted state without additional additives or deletions or changes to their structure.

22.  Eliminate plastic containers. Don't buy anything in them. Some plastics are worse than others. They may leach chemicals into the foods in the containers and do other things you would not like. Return to glass containers.

23.  Concerning colds and flusFirst, stop being selfish and put others ahead of your own selfishness.  Quarantine yourself.  Immediately.  The first three days, you ARE contagious regardless of whatever you take.  You are still contagious.  In other words, those first three days, you are a walking giver of colds and flus to whomever you come in contact with.  Stop this and stop the bug from spreading.  Quarantine yourself at home.  Alert everyone to the facts.  You have a cold and stay away as you are staying away from them.  Cannot emphasize this enough.  

Then, you can treat the problem with yourself.  Feed a cold, starve a fever is the old adage and still true.  Drink lots of fluids.  Especially, orange juice, lemon juice as in the above points # 8 and # 9 about freshly squeezed lemon juice to get the body back to the alkaline healthy state as fast as possible so bugs can't live.  Eat lots of vitamin A foods - fish like salmon, trout, cod, haddock and green leafy vegetables, fresh melons - cantaloupe and watermelon are excellent.  Chicken soup is also well recognized as excellent for colds and flus.  Rest and recuperation is also needed to allow the body to heal itself rejecting those impurities.  That does take time, at least the first three days for the contagious items and maybe another few days for the rest depending how healthy the body was prior to "catching" the gifts (flu germs) from others uncaring selfishness.

Sorry for the bluntness.  I recently went through a cold episode all because someone was determined to do his own thing knowingly whether anyone else suffered or not.  I did quarantine myself and did what is suggested here and the fourth day was back completely healthy ready to do whatever with no symptoms whatever.

24.  Stop using fluoride toothpaste and products.  According to a book entitled "Good Teeth, Birth to Death" by Dr. Gerard F. Judd, Ph.D., fluoride increases tooth decay substantially.  Earlier studies back in the 50s and 60s were flawed in major ways.  This doctor maintains fluoride doubles the decay in teeth during one's lifetime.  Others say similar things about fluoride and fluoridation and it seems the list is growing in English speaking nations, especially.

Several brain ailments such as Alzheimers, hallucinations, epileptic seizures, Parkinsonianism, and MS are linked to dentistry with its fluoridation, mercury and other schemes.  Again, according to this book.  Worth the investigation.

I use Hydrogen Peroxide and water rinse after brushing with a simple baking soda and water paste mixture.

25.  Stay away from anyone with a cold, especially if they are in the first three days of it.  They are in the "contagious stage".  That stage continues until all signs of the cold are gone or not in control, usually the first three days but could be longer if they don't do anything to contain it for whatever reason, including not knowing what they don't know.

Wash your hands often and eat alkaline products like fresh fruit and vegetables and fish.  Colds can't get a good hold on you if your body is in an appropriate alkaline state.  See # 8 and # 9 above.

By the same token, should YOU feel the symptoms of a cold coming on or just beginning, quarantine yourself immediately until all signs of the cold are gone or in control plus three days.  Think about and have concern about other people.

Unfortunately, many still are selfish thinking of themselves only not quarantining themselves when they should and therefore continue to spread their germs to others.  If they did quarantine themselves at the first sign of a cold, colds could be limited from being spread AND eliminated much faster.

26.  Have a daily vigorous rub-down.  Some may want to do so with a bath towel, following a daily bath.  Some with a brush.  But in one way or another, stimulate the blood circulation even to the extremities of toes and fingers by daily rubbing or massaging.

Years ago, a researcher interviewed all the centenarians in the United States as to what they thought the reason was for their longevity.  Each gave conflicting opinions.  Yet, they all agreed on one thing.  A daily rub-down.  That one item was common to them all.  Do YOU want to have a long life?

27.  Not part of the 26. This one is NOT counted as part of the "26 Simple Techniques for Outstanding Health" but as an extra. With an attitude of doing more or giving more than what is expected...

For those who want a Biblical perspective write me.  I can elaborate what The Bible teaches about good health, prosperity and it is extremely positive, uplifting, encouraging and super practical and simple.  In other words, specific scriptures can be quoted for those interested in this approach.

Please remember, that this report was and is designed for my own benefit and has been made available for others who might be concerned about their health.  But, first and foremost, it was and is for me.  By keeping it updated from time to time, it stays in the front of my mind for my great health.

Actually, this point should really be THE # 1 point.  God should and must come first.  He and His rules and regulations won't be mocked.  Break any of them and pain and bad things happen.  Cause and effect.

I am nothing and it is not my place to prostylize, so I don't promote or present for your consideration more than what is here, unless YOU want to write me and ask.  Then, I can suggest where to go for further directions in this matter.  

Remember, I am a nobody without any credentials.  But, I have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that which is here in this report and will stand behind it.  ALL of it, including this point.  

As said before, don't put your faith and trust and believe any man, including me, but prove it for yourself.  You have to live with the decisions YOU make.

A Bible based approach to great health - is my and many others opinion(s). A fantastic focused individual Bible Study on the subject is an excellent PRACTICAL and interesting study to consider. A very specific attitude and various tips for good health and living life abundantly will develop from that type of approach.

I believe as many others do that there is a Creator God that created everything in the universe and beyond and as He said everything was created very good as it was created. He does know what should be eaten and not eaten and how and has told His creation - human beings - this in His manual to mankind - The Bible. He has set certain laws into play if obeyed then blessings. If disobeyed, then penalties must be paid. He also heals those who turn to Him learning His ways and obeying as they learn. For example:

 

(Exodus 15:26 KJV) And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for am the LORD that healeth thee.

(3 John 1:2) Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

(Psalms 103:3) Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

 

The medical profession can't help but be dumbfounded with these dramatic healings as they can't do that.  Medical profession can't help but be dumbfounded with these dramatic healings as they can't do that.

It is up to us as individuals to find out these things and do our own study.  Again, if you'd like, ask and I can provide an outline as a suggestion for you to do yours. Only God can be trusted. No human being, including me, can be. Again, I am a nobody. There are a lot of more spiritually superior individuals than I. I'm just a little guy in the whole realm of things and can only point in their directions and their teachings. Enough said on this subject.

Just one more thing though. The King James Bible is probably the best translation in English as The Book was not written in English. All Bibles in English do have some translation errors. The King James has the fewest. Another second choice is perhaps the RSV (Revised Standard Version). Serious students of The Bible will have multiple translations. One of the worst translations is the NIV or as some serious Bible students call it the Non Inspired Version as the translators imposed their own personal non-inspired ideas into their translation. Many of those ideas are blatantly false and others subtly false and directly opposite to the truth catching the unsuspecting unawares. Stay away from the NIV translation. Seriously.

Now, enough said on the subject.

 

A Recap & Question

According to the booklet about the 7 laws to radiant health, do these 26 techniques above fit pretty much with these 7 laws?

The 7 laws for radiant health.

1.  Healthy food and water to promote good health.
- whole and natural foods
- alkaline and acidic foods in proportion
- lots of water
- those that spoil naturally
2.  Cleanliness and dress.
3.  Sunshine and fresh air.
4.  Exercise and increase oxygen intake.
5.  Sleep and rest. About 8 hours a night.
6.  Avoid bodily injury - careless and reckless actions and diet.
- we are what we eat and can cause serious problems down the road.
7.  Positive mental attitude. Overcome negative thinking and overcome division.

 

 

In conclusion, as a non-medically degreed observer / researcher / layman ... IF ... you will DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and PROVE FOR YOURSELF what is right, ... then, change your diet as you discover the need to change to eat more naturally and more appropriately, exercise and give of yourself, doing everything in moderation, ... then watch your health improve and your weight shed the unwanted pounds. You will live life more robustly and abundantly beginning within 7 days.

By this report, I am NOT claiming you can be perfectly healthy. That is not my place. But, I do believe you can be healthier and on your way to being perfectly healthy.

Doing Our Part

You will look better, feel better and BE better having so much energy others will marvel of the new YOU. Just as I marveled at that lady who shed 79 pounds so far mentioned earlier inspiring me to exercise.

You will eliminate a tremendous amount of harmful stress and medical induced problems in your life. You can't help but be living more abundantly. More robustly.

Try it for 30 days and see if YOU are not living life more abundantly and robustly. And remember - you are what you eat. Garbage in - sickness and illnesses radiate out. Cause and effect. After your 30 days initial habit-forming program, write me and let me know your results. I'd be curious how you found this info.

There is lots more I could offer should you be interested in further study. Write me or ask me if interested. But, this should be sufficient to launch you into your own series of self-directed studies.

Again, I'm still learning myself. This report was and still is primarily for myself. If anyone else can benefit from it, great. That is an added bonus.

Having said all this about these great starting tips we can do individually in staying and getting healthy, perhaps, I believe, the greatest missing dimension in people's fantastic heath is forgetting or not knowing there is a God of the entire universe and beyond who orchestrates all things. He created all things so knows how they were made and how they function or should function. As one is receptive to Him, listens to Him, obeys Him and follows Him as He tells us then one remains or becomes healthy. That is a promise He gave mankind and so far, He has kept His promise. I'm walking proof of that. Many times, even life-threatening illnesses and diseases.

Anyway, that is my belief and even though I am not perfect in His sight, He still has blessed me outstandingly and blatantly with miraculous and I do mean miraculous BLATANT non-medical-industry healings. I have also been witness to countless other miraculous divine interventions.

Having stated this, I don't believe it is my place to proselytize as God says He does the calling and that no man can come to Him that He didn't call personally. You can find that in John 6:44. Yet, I will give Him the credit that is due Him, saying it wasn't anything I did or earned. I've earned pain and suffering and even death for some of the things I've done.

If you don't have the Biblical background, faith and trust or belief in a Creator God, then I do recommend don't give up the only hope you may have at this time. That is the medical profession. I don't want anyone to be without any hope regardless of what hope I have.

There are laws however to prevent the need to seek rectification of health problems. Those are what I promote. Prevent the problems before they exist.

 


The Bottom Line is how do YOU want to live - abundantly healthy or ... as you are right now?

 

Remember at age 65, without any drugs nor medications of any kind, I can probably run circles around most teenagers and after having done my research, I stopped seeing, believing in and trusting the "medical" profession completely over 12 years ago. I couldn't be happier.

... AND ... I don't claim to know it all yet, nor am perfect in the implementation of what I do know.  And there are times I pay the consequences for breaking the basic health laws as one who breaks any other law, expect a penalty to be paid. Sooner or later, the effect will show up. Cause and effect.

I do consider myself a perpetual student of good health willing to implement those laws as they are learned personally AND by observing others' results - good and bad.

Worth saying and emphasizing again...

Laws cannot be broken without penalties being paid. And there are laws to abundant robust radiant health.

It is worth learning them!

 

My circumstances MAY be different than yours, but it is used here as an example of what might be possible with research, observation and implementation on your part.

This presentation is an example of a direction we can take to lower and/or eliminate perhaps most if not all of our human physical sickness and illness suffering we bring on ourselves. As the old doctor friend said, "Gary, over 90% of all illnesses and diseases are diet related. Take care of your diet and eliminate 90% of illnesses and diseases."

Well ahead of his time, in October 1954, Mr. Armstrong wrote (Good News magazine),

"The human body functions according to definite laws. It needs fresh air in the lungs—not tobacco smoke. It needs pure water, and plenty of it—not soda pop, stimulants, and man-perverted drinks. It needs a proper amount of joyous, exhilarating exercise, and walking—not riding everywhere in the car, nor taking one’s exercise sitting down in the paid admission stands of a baseball park, or a football or basketball game. It needs sufficient sunshine, not the dark, dank congestion of crowded man-built cities. It needs cleanliness and proper elimination—not the almost universal constipation caused by neglect and foodless foods contaminated in man-made "food" factories. It needs relaxation, ample rest and sleep—not the nerve-shattering, excitable pleasure-seeking life—and nightlife—of today’s modern whirl.

"And last, but far from least, it needs wholesome, properly prepared natural food—not the starchy, sugary, greasy mess of contaminated stuff we ignorantly suppose to be food today!

Is it any wonder why so many Americans suffer from obesity, sugar disease, low energy, chronic fatigue, insomnia, depression, impotence, allergies, cancer, heart disease and the like? Modern medicine has made great progress in eliminating certain communicable diseases. But non-communicable diseases, like those listed above, thrive in our modern age largely because of faulty diet and sedentary living."

 

 

This man - Herbert W. Armstrong - who died in 1986 was way ahead of his time. In many ways. Worth the study.

The real tragedy, though, is that most Americans, whether they have health insurance or not, are unwilling to take matters into their own hands and greatly improve their overall health by simply eating right and exercising. They want things handed to them - and the pills to correct whatever penalties come from that type attitude.

It's really the most affordable health-care system there is with the most beneficial benefits possible. Nothing else compares to it.
