Some students have decided to take the For Credit Courses anyway even though they may not hand in their work and won't be graded on any of it.  But, they will have gone through it should the Academy decide in the future to change back to For Credit Courses, they will have already completed much of the work.

Obviously, the Academy is still being more fully developed.

Based on the entire AGS Life Academy website as the basis of the programs as well as the 10 textbooks mentioned in The Foundation.  Yet, also includes :

It will be much more intense interaction than the Certificate Program.  May also require attendance, registration and progress records.

One Of Your Assignments For A Lead Up To A Diploma Granting - 25 Questions

At the conclusion of each month of The Foundation, list out 25 questions to show you have gone through that month's program.  Create, in essence, 25 questions as if YOU were the teacher teaching that class to verify whether someone else had done the program AND list out the corresponding answers to your questions.

These questions can be a combination of True or False, Fill in the blank, matching, essay or whatever you choose.  Show YOUR creativity.

At least one question should combine previous month's modules in how the different month's programs fit together.

Does Several Things

This does several things.  It first shows us that YOU went through the program yourself.  We'll also know that by other means.  More importantly it shows us that YOU can think.  And rationalize.  And tells us what YOU got out of the specific program.  

In addition, it tells us whether you can follow directions.  This is extremely important in an age where work ethics leave a lot to be desired and dropping in standards almost daily.

It raises your standards in multiple ways.  You will have to follow through and not do just the minimum.  We're looking for more than the minimum.  And, you are in charge of this portion.

It also begins getting YOU to think in training others, which is part of what the whole AGS Life Academy experience is all about.  Rolls Royce type leaders lead which is what you are learning to do at the Academy.  Part of a leader's job description is teaching and that is what we want you to show us you can do.  Especially, as you combine several months' material together.

It also shows your creativity as you choose what type of questions you want to create.  Again, they could be fill-in the blank, multiple choice, true or false, limited essay type or whatever type question YOU want to create.  They will also show whether you are a detail-minded individual, a generalist, a nit-picking stickler, an encourager and helper or other type potential leader.  It will show lots more as well.

It will moreover show whether you do the minimum or put yourself into the project.  See the 5 Questions to ask your daughter's potential boyfriend/date as an example of what these questions  REALLY  say teaching how to read between the lines.  What is NOT said but  IS  said loud and clear.  

We are serious in wanting to raise the standards for people not to accept face value.  To really think at not only what they are doing but what others are doing as well.  These questions contributes to that.

So, then, You Will Have ...

At the conclusion of your time with AGS Life Academy, whether it takes 6 months or 6 years, a request for a Diploma will include the 25 questions per section or program.

The overall AGS Life Academy Diploma will include the following sections.  Each monthly section should have had 25 questions prepared and submitted to qualify for the Diploma Program.

- Module 1 Month 1 - Motivation & Drive
- Module 2 Month 2 & 3 - Human Relations - building & maintaining
- Module 3 Month 4 - Lessons to be learned living life & going from poverty to 200 million a year
- Module 4 Month 5 - Being a man &/or being a woman fully
- Module 5 Month 6 - Putting it all together tailored to YOU going forward
- Module 6 Month 7 & Beyond - Congratulations!  You now have a major responsibility - Go And Enjoy Life

... AND ...

For the Diploma, include questions concerning each of the following sections... as well as those from the individual Modules listed above.

- Goals Setting & Values Determination - 10 questions
- How to stay informed - 10 questions
- How to be healthy - 10 questions
- Life Finances ... Made Simple - 10 questions
- Organization & Time Management - 10 questions

... AND ...

Also for the Diploma, you will need at least 6 brief papers on Music Appreciation.  You should have gone to at least 6 classical concerts and written a paper on each.  AGS Life Academy recommends being balanced as all work and no play makes the boy a dull one.

For The Diploma ...

This Program for a Diploma will also include quizzes, tests and papers throughout the course.  Some may be impromptu but all will generate honest grades.  Also, a journal should be kept as each student will be graded on it.

On the 1st day of the week - Sunday, the planning day - every week, keep a journal to record your thoughts and progress of YOU going through AGS Life Academy.

Included in this journal should be

1.  Personal Growth - list out or comment from time to time how you have grown in the process of going through AGS Life Academy.  Your meditations, your questions, and most importantly, what YOU got out of the program so far at the moment of writing in YOUR journal.  

Any points of personal correction would also be worth including.  How has your attitude changed?  Do you think of others more or less than when you first started the Academy?  Give examples on at least a monthly basis.  How has your relationships changed - close relatives, friends, co-workers, supervisors, extended relations and distant acquaintances, etc.

After each month recap your feelings of the previous month and the whole Academy process & experience.  What YOU like and what YOU don't like and if YOU were in charge, how would YOU change it?

We suggest a 3 ring binder so added pages and material may be included as time goes on.  You will look back over time and use this notebook more and more.

This is for YOU alone.  It is NOT to be sent in or to be read by anyone else.  FOR YOUR EYES & USE ONLY.

Also, in addition to the above mentioned section in the journal, include sections on the following:

2.  Staying Informed - list out weekly the top 3 news events from YOUR perspective and why they are important to YOU keeping AGS Life Academy teachings in mind.

3.  Organization & Time Management - list out the gleanings YOU found helpful as you found them helpful.

4.  Health - comment to yourself about this section, again, as they become important to YOU or when YOU learn them, implement them, whatever.

5.  Goals & Values - list out YOUR goals and values as they change and/or develop or come into existence.

6.  Finances - list out how YOUR finances have changed both for the good or the worse and why YOU feel they did.  Project out from time to time (monthly is great) where you will be if you continue in the present way you are going.  What if you make changes and which changes you make?

7.  Opportunities - list out what opportunities come your way and what YOU feel provoked them to come to you.  Or how you encouraged them to be developed.

AGAIN, this journal is for YOU only so please be honest and straight forward.

For the Diploma Program and above level Programs of student involvement (Consultant, Masters, Private), you will grade yourself on a scale of 0 to 5 (0 being a non-performing failure and 5 perfect gained a lot every week) on your effort and the benefit you gained from it.  You should submit that grade for consideration in your overall grade.  

Please keep in mind honesty is shown in other areas as well to confirm you are honest here too.

This journal will be helpful in your learning process in a profound way.  You will notice the progress you have made probably within the first 30 days.  As simple a task this is, and on the honor system, please don't underestimate the value of it.  A sufficient amount of time should be spent doing it.  Don't short-change yourself and DO fill in the details as much as possible.  Possibly include in your journal backup type copies of "things" from study material and other sources you find revelatory or very interesting to you.

You may want to keep this journal weekly even after completing AGS Life Academy.

AGS Life Academy Is NOT A US Accredited Institution

AGS Life Academy is NOT a US accredited institution AND is NOT a typical US educational institution that offers associates and bachelor degrees.  For that matter, it is NOT a typical educational institution anywhere in the world.

Transfer of credits from AGS Life Academy to other institutions is at the discretion of the receiving institution.

Diplomas are granted from AGS Life Academy based on recommendation from the faculty.  To receive a diploma, a student must:

• Meet all course, credit, academic and other requirements of the curriculum in which he or she is enrolled.
• Meet all financial obligations to AGS Life Academy - $1997 up front.
• Receive approval and recommendation of the faculty.
• Complete an Application for Graduation and submit it along with a $100 graduation fee.
• Complete other requirements as requested, unless excused.

Grading (subject to revision)

1.)  Tests will account for 40 % of grade
     a.  take-home and un-announced quizzes & monthly news related + others
     b.  mid-term (after Module 3)
     c.  final (after Module 6)

2.)  Papers will account for 25 % of grade

3.)   Journal & Participation will account for 35 % of grade
     a.  Journal
     b.  Monthly Module, 25 Questions Per Module & Other Submissions
     c.  Participation (in class and/or communication with instructor)
     d.  Attendance

Grades are awarded according to the percentage earned in a particular course and are recorded by letters.

An "A" is an indication of excellent work, a "B" of good work, a "C" of adequate work, a "D" of weak work and an "F" for fail

Point Values

Each letter carries a point value. The point value for grades are assigned as follows:

The following designations also may be recorded:

Satisfactory An "S" is earned when the equivalent of a C- or higher is earned in a Pass/Fail

Unsatisfactory A "U" is assigned when a passing grade is not achieved. In the case of Pass/Fail courses, this grade is assigned when anything less than a C- is earned. A "U" has an associated point value of 0 and is always calculated as part of the GPA. All courses that are failed and required for graduation must be repeated.

Incomplete is all situations when a course is not completed, a grade of "I" is assigned. An "I" has no associated point value and is not calculated as part of the GPA.

All incomplete grades must be rectified by the time specified by the instructor; this must be no later than one year from the time the course began. If this does not occur, then the grade is calculated without the missing work.

Prospective graduates must make-up all outstanding incomplete grades prior to graduation.

Audit The designation of "AUDIT" is given when a course is audited rather than taken for credit. Auditors can change their registration to taking a course for credit.  Certain guidelines and/or restrictions may apply.  For example, all course work will have to be included as if the student began as a student taking the program for credit.

For Credit Diploma Program

This Diploma Program is still being formulated even though the outline and much of the criteria is already listed above.   Any suggestions and/or feedback are greatly encouraged.  

The Diploma Program is $2097, which includes $1997 for the basic 6 modules of The foundation plus $100 for the final exam & Application for Diploma fee.

Registration and the For Credit Programs are on the honor system currently.  You must send us your name and email address so we can communicate with you when it may be necessary.

Currently, have reverted back to total give-away status of the Academy.  Therefore, only the Auditing Program is available and everything, including the Registration, is FREE to everyone.

Do suggest to go through the Academy as you would for the Diploma Program with your own journal and other requirements indicated.  It would be to your benefit.
