1 or 2 months to 5 or 6 years of age

Childlike ages of a month or two old to 5 or 6 years old children are receptive to their parents teachings and learn not only in how they explain things, but also in observations how people do things.  

This can be good or not so good.  Being so impressionable, it behooves the parents in doing things right themselves as these receptive children pick up all the nuances of things said and done, whether right or wrong.  These are the informative years.  The foundation years where they learn the most.  

Actually, the first year of a child's life is when a human being learns the most.

This is the time for the parents to train up their child the best they can with certain principles in the simplest terms and ways possible.  Parents need AGS Life Academy at this stage perhaps more than anyone.

With no dis-respect intended, most parents don't know what they don't know and their parents didn't know what they didn't know so no one has really taught the new parents in how to be parents.  That is other than the TV and the environment around them and as staying informed has shown, this is not good for the most part.  

Quite frankly, it is rare to find a parent that has a clue in how to be a parent when the first child arrives.  And, again, with all due respect.  That is not meant to be dis-respectful, just what has been found to be reality in all too many cases.

There is no school nor college that I know of to teach how to be a parent.  Parents learn their job with on-the-job training.  

Maybe some books have provided some insight.  Some better than others.

Dr. Spock has been a major contributor in training parents with his books.  Before his death, he apologized to an entire generation for teaching wrong things simply because he didn't know what he didn't know and assumed his way was right.  He said it was wrong and his teachings were wrong, but unfortunately those teachings were taught to too many people who have taught it to too many people and now, an entire generation is destroyed for lack of true knowledge.  Or, major re-training, at least.  And, he acknowledged that wrong on his part.

Children need training.  And correction and discipline.  Appropriate correction and appropriate discipline.  Not adult reasoning.  They are not yet adults and do not think like adults.  They are children and need to be treated like children.  Respected as children but still children.

It has nothing to do with feelings nor self esteem.  It has everything to do with who they are and who they will become.  They are children and learning and developing as children so they can later on in the appropriate time become adults and responsible productive adults in society.

They need to understand what growing up is all about.  Through the various stages of life to death.  And each stage leads normally into the next stage which leads into the next stage, etc.  Without rushing or skipping over one or any stage as each is there for a purpose.

Children need love 85% of the time, instruction 10% of time in love and correction 5% of the time in love.  In other words, love 100% of the time, but sometimes tough love is part of that love and tough love is correction AFTER instruction in love followed up with a good hug and a quick explanation of why the correction or discipline and hopefully no more correction or discipline will be needed in the future if the child learned the lesson.

There is a way to love and a way to not love.  But, this is a topic for a different day and different venue.

Let it be said, however, the 6 months intensive in-depth training of AGS Life Academy would be excellent for new or relatively new parents to give them the foundation that they need to raise the future leaders of this world.  That is what children are - the future leaders of the world.

Actually, the Academy would be excellent long before the new or relatively new parents even have a twinkle in their eye about an opposite sex member.  There really is a lot of education to be had long before marriage and sex that formed the child.

6 months foundational education is all those parents need really assuming they are serious about wanting to raise their children to be the future leaders they can be.  

Most Important Job In The World

Parents have perhaps the most important job on the planet.  Raising world leaders.  And government leaders.  And business leaders.  And all sorts of leaders in every facet of life.  That is their job.  And they really need to take that job seriously.  

I mean that in the fullest sense possible.  Parents truly have an outstanding responsibility that truly is seriously incredible.  Their children are those leaders in embryo stage.

What parents do or don't do will teach their children in how to act, to speak, to do in the future.  In the roles or professions they select, whatever they are.

My point is therefore, then why not learn what those future "professionals" will need to learn AND not learn and then teach them from the earliest age possible?

According to many studies, it takes both of the individuals that produced that child.  Not a surrogate that comes in after-the-fact.  That is according to countless studies on the subject.

Future generations are counting on you parents.  These are YOUR children.

If you do that job well, the children will be your legacy while if you don't, the future generations will know where the cause for their horrible civilization came from.  They will hold YOU parents accountable for what you did not do in training your children in how they act and do and speak.  And rightly so.

That's what AGS Life Academy is all about.  Training the teachers of future generations as well as the future generations themselves.  

We all need to be serious in what we are doing.  You parents.  AGS Life Academy as well.  What AGS Life Academy AND you parents will produce together is or are in your living room.

6 to 10 to 12 years of age

These are playing years of a child's life.  When they learn new skills and develop new talents.  They need to be exposed to a variety of different things while still having fun with playing as their first priority.  These "things" should be high quality things, if at all possible.  These years tend to cement in certain mindsets in them that may be more difficult to grow out of if not done right.

Therefore, select the toys and games wisely for their teaching mechanisms.  What do they teach the child? should be a major consideration to a parent.  Remember, the parent is still in charge of the child and responsible first and foremost for their training.  Not some third party or government arm coming in dictating what they want taught for their political self-desired agendas.

These aged children are still not yet adults and should not be treated as an adult.  The mind is still being formed so they can't reason as an adult and shouldn't be expected to.  These are the playing years.  The fun years.  But, very receptive learning years.  Looking to mom and dad as their authority figure.  What is right and wrong.

These are the years parents should spend more time with their children showing by example what to do and what not to do and explaining why so the child learns the reasons behind actions.  The causes for happiness, joy, peace, hope or anger, strife, chaos, war.  There is no substitute for time spent with children.  The lost art of these causes learned here at AGS Life Academy is really needed for the parents to teach these children.

Teen years to young adults

The teen years are some of the fun years yet can be very "trying" as they take on certain responsibilities in the family and around the home, in school, and in general.  A new set of fine tuning of their minds develops during these crucial years where they think differently.  They begin to reason more and need high quality direction to assist them in forming right thoughts as negative thoughts can over power them in wrong ways creating undesired problems that are more difficult to correct later in life.

They need to learn the consequences of their actions more and more allowing them to periodically fall down scraping their knee so to speak and picking them up, dusting themselves off, kissing the knee and sending them out again to play.  They need to learn the world does have problems and what to do when they occur and even more important, how to avoid them at all possible.  But, problems will occur and they should expect them.

This would be one of the ideal ages for AGS Life Academy.  To give them "preventive" solid, uplifting, encouraging, right kind of instruction to set the stage for living life in just a few short years.  They are still receptive as a child, a more mature child, but still a child and have a mind to think and begin to reason as an adult.  They are observant of what is going on around them within their own extended family and those in their acquaintances from divers groups as well as the community at large, even the world.

They are still children but more mature children needing a higher level of adult supervision and development teaching more right from wrong, cause and effect, and sooner or later all things do come out so don't lie.  They should learn lying is not good and if one is deceptive about it, and found out later, the consequences are worse.  Just like society.  Be honest as honesty is always the best policy.  One never has to look in the mirror or over their shoulder wondering when they will be found out.

Some believe these years are the rebellious coming out years.  They shouldn't be if the parents have taught them appropriately from their very young childlike youth years.

These are the years one can really begin to see what the parents have done in training their children.  Or, ... the lack of training.  

If the child is well-behaved, respectful, obedient, well-mannered, then the parents have spent time with their children.

If, on the other hand, they are dis-respectful, dis-obedient, rebellious, obnoxious, unruly children, that points back to the parents that either they didn't spend the right amount of time AND necessary correction in training their children ... OR ... they didn't know what they didn't know to do what they should have done.  In other words, they knew how to create the children, but didn't know how to CARE for their children and train up a child when they are young so when they are older, they will go the right way.

Obviously, I put the onus on the parents.  It is all in the training and that training shows up in the child's attitude, character and conduct.  Sorry about being blunt, but talk is cheap.  It is results that count and as the Kinesics books say, you CAN read a person like a book.  That supposes you or the parent know(s) how to read the book or the child.

For the parents of these children, this would be an excellent time for them to take AGS Life Academy for many reasons.  I don't believe it is ever too late to make changes and correct oneself.  The parents have that responsibility for their children, and for that matter, even at older ages (50s, 60s, 80s, etc.) their children are their legacy.

A parent should always be able to instruct, correct or discipline and love their child regardless of their respective ages.  Again, in the proper 85%, 10% and 5% ratios mentioned earlier.

Young adult to adult age (early 20s to late 20s and maybe early 30s)

This transition age reminds me of the old story of the teenage years (16, 17 and 18 years old) when from the child's perspective, mom and dad can do nothing right as the child knows it all.  Yet, by age 25 to 28, it is amazing how much mom and dad have learned in such a short period of time.  Truly amazing.

This is the age where they begin to realize they really don't know it all and become more receptive to training.  Specialized training.  Like this AGS Life Academy training.  Sometimes, seriously corrective training.  Especially, if they weren't corrected or disciplined at earlier ages allowing certain bad behavior to go un-corrected.

They may have learned certain habits that are not conducive to right living, especially, abundant living and have scars they really didn't need but have acquired.  And those scars can be brutal and horrendous.  Some people cannot imagine how horrible or horrendous those scars can be.

This is one of the groups that may be ripe for AGS Life Academy as they might be at the point of saying, "Enough is enough.  I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.  What do I do to get out of the mess I find myself in?"  This is an extremely good sign and time.  They have become more childlike receptive again.  

I like these young adults and have found there hasn't been any I couldn't help whether in a complete "overhaul" or just a simple "tweaking".  The more humble one is, the more receptive to learning and less need for more unwanted humbling action one becomes.  And the brighter their future can become.

Adults from early adulthood (mid to late 20s, early 30s) to middle ages to seniors.

These are people that have grown up living life as best they know how with the training they have received OR not received in the environment they are in.  This could be of their choosing or just a product of living life and the circumstances they find themselves in.

This age group also makes a good potential student of AGS Life Academy.  In many cases, they don't need a complete overhaul of themselves, but more a tweaking to fine tune a few things.  They are smart enough to take correction well and deal with it as a course of living life.

They may know there is always a better way and they just need to find it.  They are inquisitive yet cautious in their receptivity of new things.  As they mature, they want to be shown more the details and prove the new things are right before they act on something.  They have learned sometimes the hard way that all "change" is not necessarily good change.

Seniors

Seniors are special and there is a reason they should be treated with respect and honor.  There is a reason in some cultures still, when a senior enters a room, those younger will always rise or give up their seat for them.  

They have earned that right.  They have gone through all the stages of life.  They have acquired the knowledge and experiences of each stage and can help guide and direct those younger individuals going through whatever stage they are going through.  They can encourage and educate them with the whole picture of life and not just the stage someone finds themself in at the moment.

AGS Life Academy can help seniors out giving them a resource they can use to help the more inexperienced in earlier stages.  The seniors can point to AGS Life Academy as a place for the answers.  A place to learn and grow and develop fast - 6 months - regardless of where someone may be at the moment.  (When someone is in their 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s, 6 months is a super fast short period of time.)

Remember those gray hairs are there for a reason.  Each gray hair represents wisdom one cannot attain without having gone through the process that they have.  Ask them what they can do to help YOU.  Ask them for their advice.  They truly do have lots to share.
